El propósito de este blog es recordar, revivir y disfrutar los momentos de los Doors, de Jim Morrison Y por supuesto de Ray Manzarek, John Densmore Y Robby Krieger.


Uno de mis ideales es no permitir que el rock muera, mantenerlo vivo, lamentablemente, vivimos tiempos difíciles para el rock, metal y sus derivado, únanse aquí los que quieran entrar en esos trances a los que el rock de The Doors nos llevaba siendo el Shaman Guía Jim Morrison, El Rey Lagarto, The Lizard King, Mr. Mojo Rising finalmente el es el Shaman del Blues comiencen ese trance del cual nunca se arrepentirán…….

 
 
The Soft Parade es la novena y ultima canción del álbum del mismo nombre de la banda The Doors Fue grabada en 1969. Es una pieza muy variada tanto lírica como musicalmente. Fue escrita por el vocalista Jim Morrison Además empieza con una introducción dicha por el propio Morrison "When I was back there in seminary school, there was a person there Who put forth the proposition, that you can petition the lord with prayer Petition the lord with prayer, petition the lord with prayer You cannot petition the lord with prayer¡¡¡ (En español "Cuando yo estaba en la escuela intermedia,había una persona allí que se empeño en proponer que puedes pedir al Señor con oraciones, pedir al Señor con oraciones, pedir al Señor con oraciones ¡No puedes pedir al Señor con oraciones!")
Para escribir la primera parte de la canción, Morrison se inspiró en las detenciones ocurridas en New Haven y Miami, ya que en la letra detona la sensación de querer esconderse. En la segunda parte cambia a un rock psicodélico y de ahí a un tono muy optimista para rematar con un blues-rock con el cual termina la canción
Una notable, pero rara presentación de la canción fue filmada para un documental de la cadena de la PBS .Aquí se puede ver a un Jim Morrison con una barba muy crecida y una interpretación decente de la pieza. Mas tarde esta fue incluida en compilaciones de los Doors en DVD

The Soft Parade, lanzado en 1969, es el cuarto álbum de la banda The Doors. No tuvo tanto éxito como los anteriores, debido a la integración de instrumentos de bronce y cuerdas. Pero mantiene el carácter intelectual que aleja a The Doors de cualquier banda de rock norteamericana.

También es el primer disco donde se muestran los créditos por separado a miembros individuales(solo Jim Morrison y Robby Krieger).
También hay una inusual cantidad de canciones escritas por el guitarrista, Robby Krieger. Cabe destacar, además, que aquí se encuentra la primera interpretación vocal de Robby Krieger en la canción Runnin' Blue.
En el Perception Box Set, The Doors remasterizan toda su discografía, cada album incluye algunas "bonus tracks".
